1. My blog is not the best looking one. I know a blog is not about the visuals but still you gotta make the blog presentable to the people that are going to read it. And after I saw all the other blogs with their music, pictures, moving titles, I said to myself "Wow, I need help with my blog"
2. My topics are kinda boring :). I want to attract readers but a blog is limited by the skills of the blogger in writing and I sadly suck at writing.
I want topics that make people say, "Hey, he's right about that" or "Wow, I know what that feels like" I also want to make people laugh or make them realize something important. You know Ghandi stuff.
3. What you think of in your head of what you are going to write is different when you ACTUALLY are about to write. When you stare at the computer, the thoughts that seemed so organized and complete in your head suddenly go crazy on you. Then suddenly words start to feel weird when used but in your head it was so perfect, then with the lacking of words comes the destruction of ideas, The ideas start to lose substance and feel weak and then in the end what you were going to write is now very different on what you have written.
4. And finally the latest thing I have learned is that it feels great to have a blog. It's even better when the group you are in is called The "Blogger League". I mean doesn't that sound awesome. "Blogger League" It's like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen but without the powers, the submarine, and the Indian. The name makes you feel like your part of the best minds in the world that have been brought together for a single purpose, TO BLOG. and that does not seem to be far from the truth. (We save the World, One blog at a time.)
This blog has helped me in a lot of ways. It has kept me from wasting away during Christmas break. Because the trend has always been, every break its either I play a game for a week which in no way helps me improve my mental abilities or I keep on eating which in no way helps me improve my self esteem. And when I return to school my head feels like it needs to wind up again. Like cobwebs have been filling it and it needs some maintenance.
Oh that reminds me of my little tip, don't eat too much this Christmas. Because you don't want the first words to be said to you on the first day of class to be, "Wow, nanambok lagi ka". People don't say, "Wow, Your hair has gotten longer", or "Wow, you look great in your shirt", or "Wow, you smile better now" or it's not even a simple "Hi, How have you been? Christmas great?" Noooo its always got to be, "Wow, You have gotten FAT" Which makes you feel terrible and makes you regret eating that ham on Christmas. mmmmm.. HAM... *drools
Anyway where was I, Oh right This blog has helped to keep my mind sharp. It has also improved my writing skills, in a way.
I hope in time my blogging abilities will improve. And I will be an asset to this League I like to call, The League Of Extraordinary Bloggers. (of course this would be a stupid name to the blogging group we have here so please don't change the "League of Bloggers" name. Thank you :D.)
I think I gotta sleep now, and I'm sleeping to the tune of Insomnia... by Wheesung. His version is actually much better than the original one and I know I am a korean music enthusiast :D And yes, I know its Ironic.....
